Age is just a number when you're a rock star!

"There's a saying in the music business: You don't retire from it, it retires you," Gary Rossington, the founding guitarist of Lynyrd Skynyrd, said in 2021. "I have heart problems. I thought I couldn't get around anymore a year or two ago – but I got it all fixed, so now I'm feeling all right."

Though Rossington tragically died in March 2023, the band continued to tour and will hit the road again this year for their Double Trouble Vision Tour.

"SKYNYRD NATION! Get ready because we’re hitting the road next year for the highly anticipated Double Trouble Double Vision Tour with our frynds @foreignerlive and special guest @sixgunsallymusic," the band announced in November 2025.

The tour kicks off in West Palm Beach, Florida, in July.
