Ann Michael Maye is New England royalty — and her family is buying in too.While appearing on the fourth episode of her Beyond Bakemas cooking and lifestyle series with content creator Hallie Batchelder, Ann Michael, who is married to New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, opened up about what it's been like grappling with her newfound fame.As a result of her quick rise to popularity, Ann Michael has earned herself some distinctive nicknames online, including "Queen of the North" and the "First Lady of New England."Batchelder, who is from Boston herself, pointed out the nicknames to Ann Michael on the pair's joint Beyond Bakemas episode, telling the Patriots WAG, "People are in love with you. They call you the Queen of New England.""My grandma called me one day and was like, 'Did you know you're the Queen of New England?'" Ann Michael responded.

"She said, 'What are your responsibilities? I'm like, 'I'm not an actual queen,'" Ann Michael laughed.Throughout the episode, the pair caught up, chatting about their shared Boston ties as they baked a pistachio loaf.Ann Michael's new titles as "Queen of the North" or "First Lady of New England" come on the heels of her expansive social media successes, as she documents her crafting projects, gameday outfits and baking recipes for her nearly 600,000 followers."She’s got her own little journey that’s been awesome. Being herself, that’s the best thing about her and what I love her for," Drake said of his wife's online viral status during a press conference in January 2026.

Some of those baked goods that Ann Michael is known for don’t just stay at home. In fact, they're in part responsible for fueling the Patriots all the way into the Super Bowl this year.
“The O-line is like my main recipient of my baked goods. Occasionally, they’ll write me a thank-you note,” Ann Michael shared in a January 2026 video. “It’s so funny, it’s, like, ‘Just keep feeding us. We need to protect your husband, so we need to keep on the extra weight. If you need a bodyguard, we’ll be your bodyguard.’ ”
Drake and Ann Michael have known each other since they were in middle school. Later, the two attended the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill together.After being selected by the Patriots in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Drake capped off his rookie season by proposing to Ann Michael."Love doing life with you. Can’t wait to marry you!" the NFL star wrote in a joint post on Instagram alongside photos from the sunset engagement.
