Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley have found harmony together.
"They've been together for more than six months now. Despite the skepticism, it was always real from the beginning. And they're going strong," a Hurley source tells PEOPLE exclusively of the couple.
The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer, 64, and the actress, 60, revealed in April that they were dating.
"They're very different, but it works. They're so cute together," the Hurley source adds. "It's the kind of connection that surprises people but makes perfect sense when you spend time with them. Liz's very happy."

On Easter 2025, Hurley and Cyrus made their romance Instagram official in a joint post. The actress and Cyrus first met while working together a the set of a Christmas movie in 2022 but did not reconnect romantically until after the country star's 2024 divorce from his third wife.
“Billy Ray is fabulous. We’re very happy, very happy,” Hurley told The Sunday Times about their relationship in an interview published on Oct. 25.

“He lives 40 minutes outside of Nashville,” she added at the time. “It’s so beautiful. Funnily enough, it actually looks a lot like England. Probably the equivalent of Surrey.”
Hurley, who is mom to son Damian, 23, from a previous relationship, also said that blending her family with Cyrus’ has been a seamless experience so far. (Cyrus is dad to Brandi, 38, Trace, 36, Christopher, 33, Miley, 32, Braison, 31, and Noah, 25, from previous relationships.)

“Damian and Miley have met,” the actress told the U.K. outlet in the interview. “Billy’s kids are great, and Billy has spent a lot of time with Damian. Everyone loves everyone — it’s lovely.”
During an appearance on Apple Music Country's The Ty Bentli Show in April, Cyrus gushed about his budding relationship with Hurley, calling her “a great human being."
“It’s great that God brought [Elizabeth and her son] into my life when he did,” he told the outlet. “It’s just a good thing. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy."
