Chelsea Handler revealed she has finally moved into the "toxic" house she bought from RFK Jr. and Cheryl Hines during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live

She claims the house was left in an unlivable state when she purchased it, which prevented her from being able to live there for years

Her move-in update comes after she first opened up about the problematic sale in a March 5 episode of her Dear Chelsea podcast

Chelsea Handler is revealing where she stands with her infamous L.A. home that she purchased from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cheryl Hines.

During her March 17 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the comedian, 51, shared she finally just moved into the “toxic” home she bought from RFK Jr. and Hines after previously sharing that she still had “not lived in this house” nearly five years after she purchased it.

During the episode, Kimmel, 58, first says to Handler, “I saw in the news today that you still have a house here in L.A.” After he asks her to clarify who she bought it from, Handler answers: “RFK Jr. I didn’t know I was buying–” she begins as an audience member can be heard laughing in the background.

“I know, that is laughable. You can laugh at me,” she continues, before reiterating, “I didn’t know I was buying it from RFK Jr. because it was a blind trust. The house feels like I bought it from RFK Jr.”

She then shares an update with Kimmel regarding her current status with the home.

“It took me four years to move in. There [were] a lot of problems with the house — I blame him — and that didn’t get caught during inspection. And a lot of drama with the house. But I did just move in for the first time yesterday. So, I’m good,” she says.

Handler then jokes, “I mean, I have chlamydia, herpes, and what else does he have? Oh, measles. I have chlamydia, measles and herpes. But no, it’s okay now.”

The former talk show host also recalls to Kimmel how Hines left her a note after she bought the house, which she first talked about on her Dear Chelsea podcast earlier this month.

“They sent me a note after I moved in, Cheryl Hines sent me a note saying ‘Thank you, we’re so excited you bought our house. Let us know if there’s anything we can do.’ And I was like, ‘Oh no! I bought RFK Jr.’s house?’ Like the one person in the world that I would flag whose house not to buy,” she says.

Handler’s move-in update comes after she first revealed she bought the house from the couple in a March 5 episode of her podcast. During the episode, she claimed the pair left the home in a “toxic” state that prevented her from being able to move in for years.

“I still have not lived in this house. That's how f---ed up this house was.”

Continuing to explain the alleged condition of the home, she said that when her home was inspected, they “opened up the house” and told her, "‘This house is the most toxic environment. You cannot live here for at least two years.’”

“I’m not exaggerating. It was a disaster, and I didn't know it going in because everything was, you know, under wraps," she said. The podcast host added that at least three people told her the home was "cursed."

Handler then said the situation got worse when she discovered the couple allegedly made an “illegal” addition to the property.

“In the last week of inspection, they came and I finally — like, everything’s been redone — and they’re like, there’s a unit, like a little outdoor storage unit, that’s been there since I bought the property. And they’re like, ‘This is illegal.’”

Referring to RFK Jr., she continued, "So now we have to remove his illegal bulls---t from my property, and I'm like, how did they not find this upon the first inspection?"
