Dakota Johnson returned to Saturday Night Live on October 3 to host the show for the third time.
She wore a 2013 archival red latex Versace mididress.
She also wore a dazzling diamond collar worth $124,000 by Roberto Coin.
Dakota Johnson is back for her third time as host of Saturday Night Live. The actress made a bold departure from her usual minimalist style for her opening monologue during the October 3 show.

“I’m doing what I always do on birthday which is stand in midtown in a tight-ass latex dress looking for attention,” she joked as her monologue began, referring to her October 4 birthday.
And she certainly was wearing a tight-ass latex dress. Styled by Kate Young, she opted for a red-hot Versace archival number from 2013. The form-fitting slip dress clung to her body and came to her knees and she paired it with matching red peep toe mules by Giuseppe Zanotti and a matching bright red manicure.

As for her bling, she kept the focus on one dazzling necklace and ring—Roberto Coin’s megawatt Wide Cobra diamond collar worth $124,000, as well as the Cento Circle of Life ring featuring diamonds and a ruby.

In her monologue, Johnson reflected on what has happened since she last hosted the show in January 2024. “I’ve been through two very public, very lame breakups with two very awesome musicians,” she said, seemingly in reference to her 2025 split from Chris Martin, as well as the reported end of her alleged relationship with Role Model this year. She then joked she was “looking for third.” (The actress has recently been rumored to be dating Machine Gun Kelly.)
She was then joined by surprise guest Taylor Swift, wearing an off-the-shoulder minidress, who teased her old friend about her relationship history, reminding her jokingly, “I’m not your therapist, actually.”
