David Beckham is keeping the tattoo dedicated to his oldest son, Brooklyn. The former England captain, 50, recently shared a close-up photo on Instagram showing the word “Buster,” a nickname he has long used for Brooklyn, now 26, tattooed on his neck. Many noticed the timing. Just days before, photos from Los Angeles showed Brooklyn appearing to cover up the word “Dad” on an anchor tattoo on his right arm.

Photographs taken in the U.S. show the “Dad” lettering on Brooklyn’s arm replaced with three subtle shapes. He has also covered a chest tattoo dedicated to Victoria. On his arm, the phrase “Love you Bust”, once clearly visible, now appears faint. One source described the situation as deeply painful for David. “Watching Brooklyn erase the tattoo for his mother and then take steps to remove the one dedicated to his father is deeply painful,” they said. “It’s bound to hurt badly and only intensifies the emotional damage at a time when feelings are already raw.”
