A celebration of life service and procession for Bonnie Tyler will be held at Swansea Minster at 12:00 BST
The popular Welsh singer died "unexpectedly" on 8 July, aged 75, at a hospital in Portugal "as a result of the illness that she was being treated for"
Born Gaynor Hopkins, Tyler chose her stage name by reading a newspaper and picking first names and surnames she liked
Following the church service, Tyler will "return to her hometown" of Skewen, Neath Port Talbot, for a private family service
Tyler, known for a series of hits in the 1970s and 80s, was the first Welsh person to score a number-one hit in the US, with her 1983 song Total Eclipse of the Heart topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic
On Wednesday, the song could be heard playing throughout Skewen as the biggest partial solar eclipse in nearly three decades took place
The Prince of Wales described her as a "proud Welsh icon", actress Catherine Zeta-Jones called her "a one-of-a-kind artist", while people in her hometown said "she was Gaynor from up the road"
