Angelina Pivarnick discussed her emotional experience of her miscarriage during the eighth season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation

She revealed her deep desire to build a family of her own after growing up in a broken home

Pivarnick has been open about her fertility journey and received support from fans and castmates during this time

Angelina Pivarnick is opening up about her pregnancy loss.

In the Thursday, June 4 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, the reality TV star, 39, broke down in tears as she opened up about her recent miscarriage during a conversation with her friend Dana Lasalla. As Lasalla sat down and asked Pivarnick about her recent doctor's appointment amid her pregnancy journey, she became emotional and replied, "It's not good."

"I woke up in the middle of night, 4 o'clock in the morning. I didn't feel good at all. I was very dizzy," Pivarnick said in a confessional. "I went to the bathroom. I was bleeding. I was like, 'What the f--k.'"

The reality TV star then said she "went to the doctor's" before shaking her head and holding back tears.

Back in the room, Lasalla consoled Pivarnick as she cried. "I can't believe this happened. I feel so bad. No woman should ever have to go through this, it's horrible," she said to Pivarnick.

In agreement with her friend, Pivarnick candidly shared, "It kills me, dude."

Later in a confessional, Pivarnick explained why the pregnancy loss was hitting her so hard, sharing she "really wanted" a family of her own.

"I just really wanted a family so bad because I don't have my own," she said. "I can't build a family with a family that's broken. I have to build my own f--king family."

"I wasn't able to do that. So that's what's upsetting to me," she continued. "It just sucks, all this."

Pivernick, who has shown viewers her fertility journey throughout the reality show's eighth and final season, discovered she was pregnant during the episode that aired on May 14. In the episode that aired two weeks later, on Thursday, May 28, the 39-year-old said, "I'm just not feeling myself. Some stuff's happening with me and my pregnancy, and I don't know what's going on and I don't even know what to do,"

She then told her then-pregnant castmate Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola that she saw spotting — light bleeding that can be a sign of pregnancy loss — and wasn't feeling good. Giancola said that she was "spotting right away" when she had her own miscarriage in 2024, and urged Pivarnick to go to the ER.

The episode, which was filmed in 2025, finished with a teaser for the June 4 episode, in which Pivarnick confirmed, "I woke up in the middle of the night. I'm actively miscarrying."

Ahead of the May 28 episode airing, Pivarnick wrote on X that she was "ready to watch this sad episode," before sharing posts from viewers who shared their condolences and well-wishes.

She wrote on X later, "All I ever wanted was a family of my own."
