Joe Jonas is trending again, but this time for all the right reasons.

Stepping away from the infamous parallel parking incident, the Jonas Brothers member ignited a major fan frenzy after the pop-rock band welcomed special guests for their 20th Anniversary concert, the JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour.

Monday night lit up with cheers at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn after the 36-year-old and his brothers, Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas, hit the stage with their classic hits.

As part of their anniversary tour, the Jonas Brothers brought out fellow musicians, including 2000s pop star JoJo and breakout artist Sombr.

From the opening moments to the final encore, the Jonas Brothers didn't disappoint fans by delivering electrifying and memorable performances, one standout being their unexpected take on “Back to Friends.”

The attention quickly shifted when Joe Jonas belted out high notes as he sang Sombr’s viral hit, which prompted loud reactions from the crowd and instant buzz online.

Fans on TikTok couldn’t get enough of the steamy and high-energy twist he added to the hit.

“Joe Jonas is the male version of Kelly Clarkson. He outdoes EVERY cover he ever sings,” a social media user commented on a TikTok post.

“THE SONG REALLY FITS HIS VOCALS AND SINGING STYLE,” a fan said.

“This is insaneee omg this song was like made for joe to sing,” a fan echoed.

Many fans begged the pair to drop a full version on music platforms.

“I need a Back to Friends - Sombr ft. JOE Jonas on Spotify like NOW,” a follower wrote.

“WE NEED HIS VERSION OF THIS ON SPOTIFY AND APPLE MUSIC!!!!!! YES??? YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!” another added.

The same goes for one user who mentioned, “Need a live version on Spotify asap.”

Besides the buzz circulating online, Sombr also captured the moment by posting the clip with Joe Jonas.

“Surprised the @jonasbrothers show this week,” he wrote on Instagram, sparking an outpouring of positive reactions as fans flooded the post, urging them to release a full version of their unexpected duet.

The trio will close out the year with two more shows, the first at the Daily's Place in Jacksonville on Dec. 30 for the Jonas Brothers: JONAS20 Greetings From Your Hometown, followed by a show at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL on Dec. 31 for the Jonas Brothers: Greetings From 2026.
