Jury Duty is back for a second season on Prime Video, premiering March 20

The beloved reality-hoax series will star Anthony, a real-life temp worker who unknowingly joins a fake hot sauce company full of actors

Season 1 of the series premiered in 2023 and received multiple Emmy nominations

Jury Duty is back!

In the newly released trailer for season 2 of the reality-hoax show, viewers are introduced to Anthony, the new unsuspecting star at the center of the series.

Season 2 will follow Anthony as he travels to what he believes is a company retreat for Rockin' Grandma's, a hot sauce company for which he's just been hired as a temp employee.

The only problem? The company is fake and his coworkers are all actors.

In the trailer, the CEO of Rockin' Grandma's is preparing to step down and hand over the company to his eccentric son. But things take a turn when prospective buyers of the company show up, threatening the company's future.

"If they think they can just come in and do whatever they feel like they wanna do, they're in for a rude awakening," Anthony says in the trailer. "I care about y'all, this is a family."

Despite the outlandish behavior of his coworkers, Anthony appears convinced it's all real."I real-life feel like I'm on a TV show, but this is not something you can just make up," he says.

Season 1 of Jury Duty, which was nominated for three Emmy Awards and won a Peabody Award, originally premiered on Amazon FreeVee in April 2023. It followed Ronald Gladden, a man who believed he was joining a real jury trial.

James Marsden appeared in the series playing a parodied version of himself as another juror. At the end of the season, the hoax is revealed to a bewildered Gladden. Gladden spoke to PEOPLE at the 2023 Emmy Awards about having suspicions about the series while filming.

"They got me on camera saying, like, 'This feels like reality TV,' literally day three," said Gladden. "So, like from the get go, I kind of had a feeling something just wasn't right, but never in my right mind would I think the entire world around me was fake and everyone was an actor, so I never entertained that thought."
