Meghan Markle allegedly lodged an unusual complaint during a complimentary retreat prior to meeting Prince Harry, according to reports.
While the Duchess of Sussex has achieved global recognition since her 2018 marriage to the prince, she had already established a notable profile beforehand. This stems from Meghan, 45, working as an actress, best recognized for her part in the TV series Suits.
Prior to her marriage, Meghan frequently moved in celebrity circles, with one instance being her invitation to the Soho House club in Istanbul in 2015, when Meghan and other celebrities, including Paloma Faith, were invited to the venue to mark its launch. This news comes as Daily Express US readers shared that they believe Harry and Meghan's relationship with Kate Middleton and Prince William is "too damaged."

Based on reporting by Daily Mail columnist Sarah Vine, the celebrities received complimentary accommodation at the hotel, along with a gift bag.
However, one attendee allegedly witnessed Meghan expressing dissatisfaction with this gift bag, which she deemed inadequate, reports the Express.

Vine reported, "My friend couldn't quite catch the details, but the general gist seemed to be that she (Meghan) was unhappy with the quality of her goodie bag, which she felt was insufficiently lavish in its largesse.
"My friend remembers thinking, 'Wow, it takes quite some chutzpah to complain about a free gift at a free weekend in a five-star hotel full of A-listers.' At the time, he had no idea who the angry American was - nor, he recalls, did anyone else in his group."

The gathering took place in 2015, one year before Harry and Meghan began their relationship. The pair became engaged in 2017 and subsequently tied the knot in 2018. They went on to welcome their first child, Prince Archie, in 2019, followed by the arrival of Princess Lilibet in 2021.
However, this year the couple has faced another major milestone: Returning to the UK, with the Duke and Duchess having moved to the Cotswolds in August.
After spending six years in California, the Sussexes returned to Harry's homeland, settling into a private, non-royal residence outside London.
Despite their move, they will remain private citizens, and any charity work or appearances they do will be in a private capacity as philanthropists and public figures, not royals.
But they have faced a couple of bumps in the road, such as with their children's schooling, as they had to pull Archie and Lilibet out of their school after the second day due to security concerns.
Their move came after the family visited the UK earlier this summer in an attempt to thaw their relationship with the royals, specifically King Charles and Queen Camilla.
The family visited King Charles at Highgrove in July, where the King saw his grandchildren for the first time in four years. King Charles was notified of the final move in August and reportedly welcomed the chance to see more of his family privately.
