Millie Bobby Brown is revealing a glimpse into her fun-filled playtime with her daughter.

The actress, 22, caught up with PEOPLE exclusively at the Let It Bloom launch event for the new Blooms by Play-Doh adult-focused product line on Thursday, July 9. After reminiscing about playing with Play-Doh during her own childhood, Brown shared that she and her daughter — whom she and husband Jake Bongioviwelcomed via adoption last year — love to get creative together.

Brown said their play sessions include lots of arts and crafts, as well as puppet shows and dress-up fun.

“Dressing up is a big one for me,” the Stranger Things star told PEOPLE. “I loved dressing up as a child. I don’t know if that was me screaming to everyone saying I wanted to be an actor, but for me, I loved dressing up as different princesses and knights and dinosaurs.”

“I was big on a bunch of costumes. I loved costumes,” she continued. “So we have a very big costume rack in our playroom.”

Brown said she and her daughter — whose name she has not shared publicly — “enjoy any kind of creative environment where we’re able to create our own story.”

“I really encourage that,” she explained.

Brown’s daughter also expresses her imagination through artwork — and her pieces always have pride of place at home.

“Anywhere we go, [her artwork] is always up on display because I’m so proud of her creativity,” the Enola Holmes star said, adding that she and Bongiovi, 24, also paint and display their own work.

“It’s not anything special, but it’s special to us,” she told PEOPLE. “And that’s what makes it a home.”

Asked if her daughter has shown any indications of what her future creative outlet might be, Brown replied, “No, not yet. I mean, she uses her voice a lot, so I’m very intrigued about that. She’s loud like mama. So I’m always going to encourage her to speak louder.”

Brown and Bongiovi — who wed in 2024 — announced that they had welcomed their daughter on Instagram on Aug. 21, 2025.

“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” the actress wrote in the post, adding, “And then there were 3.”

A source told PEOPLE at the time that the couple planned to raise their daughter on their Georgia farm, which is home to a menagerie of animals including sheep, goats, cows, donkeys, cats and dogs.

“They have really worked on creating this special family life in Georgia. [Millie] loves her farm — it’s going to be such a special place for the baby to grow up,” the insider said.

Brown opened up about becoming a mother in a November 2025 interview with British Vogue, describing the experience as “a beautiful, amazing journey.”

“She’s taught us so much already,” she said of her daughter. “Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.”

In a video for UNICEF, released last month, Brown — who is a Goodwill Ambassador for the humanitarian aid organization — shared that no one prepared her for “the love” she would feel for her daughter.

“People say they love their children. I don’t understand how that much happens in my heart. I don’t know how the feeling is so overwhelming. It’s just incomprehensible,” she said.
