COLLEGE PARK, GA ― Washington Mystics head coach Sydney Johnson did not finish a Saturday matchup against the Atlanta Dream.
At the 3:52 mark of the third quarter, Johnson got into a heated discussion with the officiating crew and had to be held back multiple times. It's unclear what Johnson was arguing with the referees about, but several Washington staff members had to step in to hold him back as he gave the crew an earful.

During his heated conversation with the officiating crew, Johnson also had to be held back by his player, forward Kiki Iriafen. Eventually, he received two technical fouls and was ejected. As he walked off the court, he continued to go at officials, leading to a police escort. Johnson later walked back to the locker room on his own.
