On Nov. 6, the Duke of Sussex, 41, visited the Veterans Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. The facility is one of the largest in the country for veterans and offers long-term, complex care to more than 150 veterans from World War II and the Korean War.

There, the Duke of Sussex toured the Creative Arts room, where he met with veterans who painted and decorated helmets that will be auctioned off at a special event tonight.
The helmets will hit the auction block to benefit the True Patriot Love Foundation at the military charity's 17th annual National Tribute Dinner on Thursday night, which Prince Harry is confirmed to attend. The dinner is the organization's signature fundraiser and Canada's largest celebration for military personnel, veterans and their families.
The art therapy program at Sunnybrook embraces mediums including art and music to provide cultural, spiritual and emotional support for the physical and mental health of veterans through creative expression.

Prince Harry exchanged stories with some residents of Sunnybrook, including 101-year-old Brenda Reid, who enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy and was posted to a station in Nova Scotia run entirely by women during World War II.
When asked by Prince Harry what their most memorable war story was, Reid warned him to be cautious of her fellow residents' tales: "You can’t always believe the boys.”
