Ruby, the daughter of Rod Stewart, shared photos from the emotional moments after Levi’s birth on Instagram

She also said watching her son Otis, 3, meet his baby brother “might have been the greatest experience of my life so far”

Ruby, the 39-year-old daughter of Rod Stewart, welcomed her second child, a baby boy, with fiancé Jake Kalick on Tuesday, Aug. 4, according to an Instagram post. The model and singer announced the news and shared more details about her newborn son, including photos from Levi’s birth and what it was like when he first met his big brother, her 3-year-old son Otis.

“We welcomed our little(big) Levi Rhodes Kalick at 6:58pm on 8/4/26 at 9lbs 20inches,” Ruby wrote in the post. “His name Levi means My Heart and his arrival has grown our hearts to 10 times the size.”

The happy mom went on to say that “seeing Otis and Levi meet for the first time might have been the greatest experience of my life so far.”

“Otis is already the best big brother and we are already so in love with this sweet boy,” she continued before concluding the post: “Welcome sweet Levi!”

Ruby completed the announcement with several snapshots of Levi and his new family, starting with a picture of her toddler smiling down at the newborn bundled up in his hospital bassinet. Another image shows the new mom in her hospital bed holding both of her sons.

Other shots show Kalick with their two sons and Ruby’s mom Kelly Emberg holding newborn Levi. Still other photos in the post show the newborn on his own, swaddled in blankets and sporting a small knit cap.

Loved ones showered the new parents with support in the comments — including another one of Rod’s daughters, 34-year-old Renee Stewart, who wrote, “Levi 🩵. love you guys.”

Ruby — one of the 81-year-old rocker’s eight children, and his only with ex-girlfriend Emberg — first announced that she and Kalick were expecting their second child earlier this year, in May.

“We couldn’t decide on what to get Otis for his third birthday so we decided a sibling should suffice… baby Kalick #2 coming in early August… 🫶🏻,” she captioned her Instagram post announcing the news on May 10, which was also Mother’s Day. The post included a shot of Otis sporting a confused look on his face while holding up a sonogram image.

In the comments of the sweet pregnancy announcement, Ruby’s family and friends showed their love.

Renee — whom Rod shares with ex-wife Rachel Hunter — simply shared a red heart emoji.  Kimberly Stewart — whom the rocker shares with first wife Alana K. Stewart — wrote, “Cutest ❤️.”

Alana, 81, also shared her own congratulatory message to the expectant mom at the time. “Congratulations! And I can’t believe Otis is already three!💝,” she wrote.
