Terry Bradshaw couldn’t help but take an unsubtle dig at Howie Long’s hairline moments after the pair reunited on ‘Fox NFL Sunday.’

Ahead of the Week 1 slate of NFL games, Bradshaw — who pulled back the curtain on his battle with two forms of cancer — reassumed his seat at the pundits' desk alongside Long, Curt Menefee, Michael Strahan and Rob Gronkowski. It didn’t take long for the group to pick up right where they left off, with the former Steelers quarterback playfully wailing on several of his colleagues.

“First of all, I love everybody up here. Especially Howie,” Bradshaw began. “I want to thank Howie, because I thought here in Hollywood, I need to go back and capture some youth.” It comes after Bradshaw left viewers deeply concerned as he made an alarming mistake live on air.

Sensing an impending punchline, Long asked: “Where is this going?”

Bradshaw continued: “I’m 78 now, I need to get some hair plugs. Howie gave me the name of his doctor, and I can’t thank you enough, Howie. I’m looking forward to that.”

Howie took the lighthearted jab in stride, letting out a loud belly laugh as his face turned a bright shade of red.

As Bradshaw acknowledged, he’s not getting any younger following 31 years with FOX. Despite finding himself in the twilight of his broadcasting career, the four-time Super Bowl champion insisted that he has no desire to retire any time soon.

“Retirement is not something that — I mean, I may not be with Fox,” Bradshaw said while making an appearance on Sports Business Radio back in June. “That would be their call, not mine. But I would still be speaking, but if not doing that, I’ll still work the bourbon trail.

“Billy Graham said that the day that you retire is the day you start dying. I do believe a lot of people, when they stop using their brain and keep their thought processes moving and advancing, I do think, for whatever reason, I believe you age, and people end up dying.

“I mean, people die within a year after retirement. So I don’t want to do that. I see myself staying fully active right up to the end, whenever that is.”

Surprisingly, Bradshaw’s remark wasn’t the only time that a FOX pundit’s hairdo stole the spotlight on Sunday. Earlier in the afternoon, Greg Olsen joined ‘FOX NFL Kickoff’ ahead of his commentary duties for the Pittsburgh Steelers' season opener versus the Atlanta Falcons.

Host Charissa Thompson ensured the former tight end received an enthusiastic greeting, exclaiming: "And the myth, the legend Greg Olsen, how lucky are we? Week 1, and we already get you!"

It wasn't long, though, before Olsen's co-workers noticed something off about their colleague. Julian Edelman inquired: "You got a new haircut? You look good, you look clean."

Olsen acknowledged his recent trim, responding: "Trying to keep it shorter. You know, as you lose less hair, you try to keep less of it. You know what I mean, Jules?"

As Thompson erupted in laughter, Edelman assured Olsen that his barber had done a good job. "It looks great. It looks great," the three-time Super Bowl champion remarked. Charles Woodson confessed he completely understood Olsen's situation, joking: "It's the story of my life."

It comes after the controversial Cris Collinsworth was told "don't do that again' by Mike Torico after a wild act.
