Only four vehicles out of the nation’s 20 most popular used cars can be classified as “cars.”

This key finding comes courtesy of an iSeeCars study ranking 2025’s most popular used cars in the United States. Trucks and SUVs make up the vast majority of this ranking with the Ford F-150 taking first place for the second year in a row.

Shoppers looking to save money will be excited to hear these popular used cars are fairly inexpensive. GOBankingRates used Edmunds to look up the lowest, or average, dealer display price on used 2025 models. Buyers can find quoted prices for these 20 used cars under $40,000 — or as low as less than $20,000 in the case of the Toyota Corolla and Nissan Altima.
