Following a 41-24 loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Washington Huskies won't come anywhere close to the top 25 of the US LBM Coaches Poll for a long time.

Jedd Fisch's team didn't receive a vote in the latest installment of the poll after its third straight defeat, which dropped the Huskies to 3-3 on the season and 0-3 in Big Ten play, while coach Kirk Ferentz's team rose two spots to No. 16, and Washington's last opponent, the USC Trojans, also rose two spots to No. 15 after a 31-23 victory on the road at Penn State.

Looking to the future, Washington will have two more ranked opponents on its schedule.

No. 4 Indiana will round out Washington's home slate on November 21, and coach Curt Cignetti's team has an opportunity to make a major statement on Saturday against the No. 5 Ohio State Buckeyes at home on Saturday, while the Huskies wrap up the regular season at No. 25 Oregon, who fell 12 spots after a 17-15 loss at home to now-No. 12 UCLA.

The Huskies also have a road trip to Nebraska on the docket on Halloween, and following a 20-17 loss to the Hoosiers at home, coach Matt Rhule's team sits as the de facto No. 28 team in the country with the third-most points in the "others receiving votes" category.
