Jess Ahner shares her life as an NFL cheerleader and active member of the Air Force with over 224,000 followers on TikTok
She is a senior at the Air Force academy and a veteran dancer currently on her third year cheering for the Baltimore Ravens
During her busiest seasons, she has had to take cross-country flights to fulfill both her military duties and her game day commitments, as shown in a TikTok posted earlier this year
Jess Ahner's two great passions differ greatly, but she sacrifices nothing in the name of following her dreams.
Per her posts on social media, Ahner's life is as rewarding as her schedule is busy. She's garnered over 224,000 TikTok followers by documenting how she splits time between active duty in the U.S. Air Force and cheerleading for the Baltimore Ravens.
During football season, Ahner can be found in a number of places: on the sidelines of an NFL game, at an Air Force base or aboard a cross-country flight between the two. She may also be spotted sporting one of her two very distinct, albeit very recognizable uniforms.
The pro dancer does also manage to spend some time in casual attire and dress up for nights out, as evidenced by her recent "2025 through mirror selfies" TikTok shared on Dec. 13.
At the beginning of the year, Ahner uploaded a carousel of photos snapped throughout what she described as "another chaotic 48ish hours in my life," giving her followers a time-stamped glimpse into her routine. The TikTok post begins with a sunrise shot and a selfie, both scenes from her first day on a new Air Force assignment in Las Vegas.
By noon that day, she smiled for a photo taken by her mom. "Made it home!" Ahner wrote in overlaying text. The following slide — a mirror selfie at 7 p.m. — reads, "Rethinking my life decisions as l get ready for my red-eye flight back to Baltimore."
Indeed, Ahner looked tired in her next picture from the plane, but her caption set the record straight on how she truly felt embarking on an overnight commute. "I am actually so thankful to fly back and dance at another game," she said.
Upon landing in Maryland, she took an early morning nap at a friend's place around 5:45 a.m., then started getting ready for game day just over five hours later. By the time 1:30 p.m. rolled around, she'd already grabbed lunch and arrived at the stadium, somehow still beating her fellow teammates to the locker room.
She took two selfies with her fellow squad members, one during a warm-up practice and another on the field, where they rehearsed again at 3:00 p.m. A few hours later, Ahner's hair had been properly teased, tousled and slicked back with the team headband. By 9:30 p.m., she was back on the field, as seen in yet another selfie.

After cheering through the game and getting to watch All Time Low perform at halftime, Ahner captured herself in the car "fighting traffic" at 11:30 p.m. as she headed back to her friend's house for the night. Once settled, she shared a look at her dinner from Taco Bell, which she enjoyed just after midnight.
She was tucked into bed by 1:30 a.m., but the slideshow didn't end there. Ahner included another morning mirror selfie of her "getting ready for the airport." The final photo captured her 9:30 a.m. pre-flight breakfast of a muffin, a frosted pastry and a Diet Coke.
"Made it to the airport and time for my 5 hour flight back to Vegas!!!" she wrote. "10/10 weekend 🎉 GO RAVENS!!!"
