Although the footage is years old, it gained newfound traction on social media after being widely reshared across platforms on the occasion of Mother's Day on Sunday, May 10.
Fans are now praising Cyrus for her protective nature, while also appreciating her deep devotion towards her family.

The resurfaced video clip of Cyrus on social media shows the singer sitting at cafe with her mother, Tish.
However, what began as a normal outing ended up in an angry confrontation with a paparazzo as she and her mother tried leaving the eatery.
On their way out, the paparazzo accidentally hit Tish with a camera, while attempting to click pictures in a rush before the celebrity left.
This incident led the singer to quickly step in and defend her mother during the tense moment.
“Are you serious?” Cyrus yelled at the paparazzo. “You just hit my mom with your camera! You just ran into my mom with your camera. Don’t you ever do that again. You just almost hurt my mom. Don’t you ever even think about it!” Cyrus asserted.
However, the paparazzo defended himself, as he kept saying, “I’d never do that.”
