Zoë Kravitz’s Delicate Little Lace Set Is Making Me Rethink Naked Dressing

For the past few years, the world’s starriest red carpets have proved the endurance of one controversial trend: naked dressing. We’ve seen it all: Sydney Sweeney’s internet-breaking see-through chainmail dress, Tate McRae’s golden lace Met Gala dress, and Dakota Johnson’s white lace maxi worn with black lingerie (plus her string of naked looks). But Zoë Kravitz’s latest look may be the chicest take on the trend that we’ve seen in some time.

Last night, the actor and filmmaker was among the VIP guests on the front row of the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2027 runway show in Paris. And even amongst the sea of all-black looks, hers stood out for its sheer romance.

Kravitz wore a little floral-lace cardigan and a matching pencil skirt. The frilly separates had scalloped hems and were mostly see-through—but in the most elegant way. Kravitz expertly wore them with nude lingerie for a seamless look.

The delicate cardigan was tied together with a single silky black ribbon, and its open ends left Kravitz’s belly button bare.

Always one to reach for a pointy, sexy heel, the Saint Laurent ambassador slipped into a pair of patent-leather slingbacks with sharp tips. Kravitz popped on some diamonds—including her engagement ring from Harry Styles—to accessorize the dark ensemble, and dangly emerald-and-diamond earrings added a welcome pop of color.

She kept her makeup glowy and natural as always, and had her braids styled in the coolest messy high ponytail. On the front row, she was seated next to another It girl, Hailey Bieber, whose monochrome black fit was all sharp, polished minimalism.
